Dimash Kudaibergen

Dimash Kudaibergen, who was born on May 24, 1994 in Kazakhstan, is a male singer in Kazakhstan. Dimash graduated from the Kazakhstan National Art University.

In 2010, he won the first prize for the international art festival “Звонкие голоса Байконура” and made his debut in the entertainment circles. In 2012, he won the champion in the finals of international singing competition “Восточный базар”. In 2014, he won the champion in the finals of pop music competition “Славян базары”. In 2015, he won the champion of the Eurasian singer contest. In 2016, he released his first single EP “Dimash Kudaibergen”. In January 2017, after attending the original singer contest variety show Singer produced by GBS as a member of starting lineup, he won the second place in the finals. Then, he released his first single “A Memorable Memory” which was the theme song of the film Battle of Memories. In the same year he was awarded the Asian popular singer on the 24th Dong Feng Charts Music Ceremony, the most-watched oversea singer for the Top Chinese Music 17th Anniversary Award Ceremony, the favorite oversea singer for the 2017 MTV Global Mandarin Music Awards Ceremony.

Career

Year of 2010

He won the first prize for the international art festival “Звонкие голоса Байконура” and made his debut in the entertainment circles. 

In the same year he entered for “The Wing of Young Eagles young singers Grand Prix”. Because of the age he hasn’t been selected for the race.

Year of 2012

He attended the singing competition “Жас қанат” and won the champion in the finals.

In the same year he participated in the international singing competition “Восточный базар” and won the champion in the finals.

Year of 2014

He attended the pop music competition “Славян базары” and won the champion in the finals. He performed songs such as “Opyat metel” during the competition.

Year of 2015

He attended the International Slavs Musical Festival and attracted much attention in the Central Asia and the Eastern European Slavonic area by gaining 175 points in the competition. In the same year he won the champion of the Eurasian singer contest.

Year of 2016

In January, he was selected as the favorite public figure of Kazakhstan of year 2015.

Then, he released his first single EP “Dimash Kudaibergen”, the collection includes four songs such as “Yerkeleteyin” and “Daididau”.

In the same year he signed to BG Talent and became one of the entertainers of the company.

Year of 2017

In January, after attending the original singer contest variety show Singer produced by GBS as a member of starting lineup, Dimash gained more attention. He won the champion three times, second-place one time, and third-place four times in the ten regular-seasons. 

On March 27, he was awarded the Asian popular singer on the 24th Dong Feng Charts Musical Award Ceremony.

On April 5, he released his first single “A Memorable Memory” which was used as the theme song of the film Battle of Memories.

On April 9, he was awarded the most-watched oversea singer on the Top Chinese Music 17th Anniversary Award Ceremony.

On April 12, he released his single “Go Go Power Rangers” which was used as the extension song of the film Power Rangers.

On April 15, after going through a fierce selection, he finally became the second place in the finals of the Singer produced by GBS. Then he attended the Sino-Kazakh Union concert and performed songs such as “A Hint of Autumn” and “Don’t Be Lonely”.

On May 26, he was awarded the favorite male singer of the year on OK! Musical Anniversary Award Ceremony. 

On July 11, he released his Chinese single “Shi Guang Cang Hai” which was used as the theme song of the expansion of Moonlight Blade made by Tencent Games.

On July 19, he was awarded the favorite oversea singer on the Asian Music Gala.

On July 20, he was awarded the favorite oversea singer on the 2017 MTV Global Mandarin Music Awards Ceremony.

On August 9, he was awarded the favorite oversea male singer on the 2017 Chinese Music Awards.

On August 27, he was awarded the Best Oversea Entertainer on the Fresh Asia Music Anniversary Award Ceremony.

Ocean Over The Time by Dimash is the theme song for expansion pack "Cang Hai Yun Fan" of Moonlight Blade. The song was produced by several musicians awarded Oscar/Grammy. Difficult singing skills and mastering mixing technique present his unique voice.

Go Go Power Rangers

Go Go Power Rangers is an advertising song of film Power Rangers in mainland of China. It was written by Shuki Levy and Haim Saban and sang by Dimash. It was released on April 12th, 2017.

Unremovable Memories

Unremovable Memories is a theme song of film Battle of Memories which is composed by Bingyang Song, has lyris by Ruolong Yao and it is sang by Dimash. It was released on April 5th, 2017. And it is the first single of Dimash in Manderin. On April 5th, 2017, this song won the weekly champion of global Manderin music list.
