In view of Chinese singer Laure SHANG’s artistic accomplishment, influence and great contribution to Sino-French cultural connection, Laure SHANG has been awarded the knight of art and literature merit by the counsellor Wenzhe LUO at the French Embassy on March 19th.

Laure SHANG said: “As a singer, music is the language that I use to communicate with the world. That honor will impel me to use music to communicate with the world continually and do my part in Sino-French cultural connection. I will always follow my heart of “cultural inferiority” and pass the Chinese original spirit to the world.” It is said that Laure SHANG graduated from Fudan University’s French department. She is dedicated to using music to pass the Chinese culture to the world. Laure SHANG served as the Sino-French Ambassador of Friendship, the China-UK Culture Ambassador, the director of the art and literature department of China International Culture Communication Center and the Culture Ambassador of “the Belt and Road”.
